Our Story
Family-owned. Community-driven. Obsessed with water quality since 2014.
Our Story
Convenient Water was founded in 2014 by Mike Reynolds, a licensed water treatment contractor who had spent over a decade watching homeowners get oversold on systems they did not need and overcharged for service visits they should never have been billed for. He started Convenient Water on a single principle: treat every customer the way you would want your own family treated.
In the early years, it was Mike, a truck, and a commitment to doing the job right. Word spread through Sarasota and Manatee Counties because the results were undeniable — water that actually felt and tasted different, systems that worked as promised, and a company that picked up the phone when something needed attention without charging a dispatch fee to do it.
By 2018, Convenient Water had completed 1,000 residential installations. By 2024, that number had grown to over 5,000 homes and businesses — from Siesta Key condos dealing with chlorine taste to Parrish well owners struggling with iron and sulfur, from North Port homeowners with acidic water corroding their copper pipes to Lakewood Ranch families wanting PFAS-free drinking water for their children.
Through every stage of growth, the original promise never changed. We still do not charge service call fees. We still test your water for free. We still give honest recommendations based on what your water actually needs — not what generates the highest sale. That is not a marketing line. It is how we operate, every day, for every customer.

Jennifer's focus on customer experience is a big part of why the company maintains a 4.9-star Google rating across 200+ reviews.
Mission & Values
These are not talking points — they are the commitments we make to every customer, on every visit, without exception.
We do what we say. We charge what we quote. We show up when we commit. No hidden fees, no pressure tactics, no excuses.
We invest in staying current with the latest water treatment technology — salt-free systems, UV sterilization, PFAS filtration — and match the right technology to each customer's actual water chemistry.
Our technicians are evaluated on customer satisfaction, not sales volume. We present options at multiple price points and let you decide without pressure. Ever.
We are not a franchise or a corporate call center. We live and work in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. We sponsor local events, donate to community water initiatives, and hold ourselves accountable to our neighbors.
We offer salt-free, no-electricity, no-drain systems that reduce brine discharge and chemical use. When there is an environmentally friendly solution that meets the customer's needs, we recommend it.
Credentials
Water treatment is a licensed trade in Florida. Every Convenient Water technician holds all required state and industry certifications.
WQA Certified
Water Quality Association
Our lead technicians hold WQA Certified Water Specialist (CWS) designations — the gold standard credential in the water treatment industry, requiring demonstrated technical knowledge and continuing education.
Florida State Licensed
FL Water Treatment Contractor
We carry all required Florida state licenses for water treatment contracting. Installing or modifying water treatment systems in Florida without proper licensure is illegal — and dangerous. We are fully licensed and insured.
BBB A+ Accredited
Better Business Bureau
We have maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since our accreditation. This reflects our commitment to resolving issues promptly and operating with transparency.
EPA Standards Compliant
Environmental Protection Agency
All systems we install and all treatment practices we employ comply with EPA drinking water standards and guidelines. We stay current with EPA advisories on emerging contaminants including PFAS.
NSF Certified Systems
NSF International
We only sell and install systems certified under NSF/ANSI standards for drinking water treatment. NSF certification is independent third-party verification that a system does what it claims.

Community
Convenient Water has deep roots in the communities we serve. We sponsor local youth sports leagues in Sarasota and Bradenton, participate in the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, and regularly donate water quality testing services to local nonprofits and community organizations that cannot afford professional assessments.
Each year, we participate in community education programs at local schools and neighborhood associations — teaching Florida families about their water sources, how to read a water quality report, and when to take action on water quality concerns. Clean water is a community health issue, and we take that seriously.
During Hurricane Season, we offer discounted well water re-testing to homeowners in our service area whose wells may have been affected by flooding or storm surge — because after a storm, water safety is not the time to worry about cost.
After years of dealing with hard water and never getting a straight answer from other companies, Mike came out, tested everything for free, and gave us exactly what we needed. No upsell. No pressure. Just clean water and a technician who clearly knew what he was doing.
