No Service Call Fee — Ever
Filter changes, media replacement, system sanitization, and full repairs. We service all brands — not just our own — with zero service call fees.
Your Long-Term Partner
Water treatment equipment is a long-term investment. A properly maintained water softener lasts 20–25 years. A well-maintained reverse osmosis system lasts 10–15 years. Neglected systems fail in 5–7 years. Regular professional maintenance is the difference between a decades-long investment and an expensive replacement cycle.
Most water treatment companies in Sarasota will sell you a system and then charge $75–$150 just to come back and look at it. We believe that's backward. You already paid for quality equipment. You should be able to get service without paying simply for a technician to show up. That's why our service call fee has been $0 since the day we opened.
We also service systems we didn't install. If you have a Kinetico, Culligan, EcoWater, or any other brand that needs attention, call us. We diagnose, repair, and maintain every major brand — no service call fee, honest assessment, transparent repair costs.
We track your service intervals and reach out when it's time. No contracts — just the right maintenance at the right time.
Factory-trained on every major brand. We fix what others installed, diagnosed by experienced technicians with the right tools.
We stock OEM and quality aftermarket parts for all major brands. No waiting on back-ordered parts for common repairs.
Every maintenance visit includes a water quality test to verify your system is meeting its performance specifications.
Maintenance Schedule
Regular maintenance tasks, typical service intervals, and why each one matters.
| Service Item | Typical Interval | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Sediment Pre-Filter Replacement | Every 3–6 months | Clogged pre-filters restrict flow and overwork downstream media. We check and replace as needed. |
| Carbon Filter Replacement | Every 12 months | Exhausted carbon passes chlorine and organics. We verify remaining capacity and replace on schedule. |
| RO Membrane Replacement | Every 2–3 years | Membranes degrade over time. We test rejection rates and replace when performance drops below spec. |
| UV Lamp Replacement | Annually | UV lamps lose intensity before they fail completely. Annual replacement ensures 99.99% bactericidal effectiveness. |
| Water Softener Salt Check | Every visit | We inspect salt levels, check for bridging or mushing, and add salt if needed during every maintenance call. |
| Resin Bed Inspection | Every 2–3 years | Ion exchange resin degrades over time. We test resin capacity and recommend replacement when efficiency drops. |
| System Sanitization | Annually | Full system disinfection using NSF-approved sanitizing agent — especially important for RO systems and softeners. |
| Performance Water Test | Every visit | We re-test your water at every maintenance call to verify your system is achieving its designed performance targets. |

“My old Kinetico system started bypassing — water wasn't being treated. Convenient Water came out the next morning, diagnosed a worn seal in the control head, had the part on the truck, and fixed it in an hour. No service call fee. I couldn't believe it.”

“They've maintained our whole-house system for four years now. They call us when it's time for a service visit, show up when they say they will, and always leave the system performing better than when they arrived. Reliable doesn't begin to describe it.”

Maintenance FAQs
Most residential water softeners need a professional service visit every 12–18 months, in addition to regular salt top-offs (every 6–8 weeks for most households). During a professional maintenance visit, we inspect the control valve, check brine tank cleanliness, test resin bed performance, sanitize the system, and run a performance water test. Neglecting maintenance is the primary reason water softeners fail prematurely.
Yes — this is one of our core service commitments. We service all major water treatment brands regardless of where they were purchased or who installed them. Our technicians have training and experience on Kinetico, Culligan, EcoWater, Rainsoft, GE, Pentair, Watts, Fleck, Clack, and many others. The only thing we can't guarantee is the quality of components installed by others, but we will honestly assess what you have and tell you what it needs.
There is no service call fee — ever. This is a founding commitment of Convenient Water that applies to every customer, every visit, and every brand of system. You pay only for parts and consumables (filters, media, salt, UV lamps) that are actually replaced. Labor for the diagnostic visit and assessment is always free.
Yes. We offer scheduled maintenance programs where we contact you when your system is due for service based on its specific service interval. You don't need to remember — we track it for you and reach out to schedule at the right time. There is no contract and no fee for the scheduling service itself.
Frequent regeneration can indicate a failed or stuck control valve, a broken float in the brine tank, or a chlorine-damaged resin bed. No regeneration can indicate a control valve programming error, a timer failure, or a salt bridge in the brine tank (salt crusted over, blocking the brine draw). Both are repairable issues in most cases. Call us — no service call fee — and we'll diagnose the issue on-site.
We service all brands. Filter changes, repairs, system sanitization, and performance testing.
